Each begins with wild Bothnian Sea bladderwrack, hand-gathered only once a storm has set it free, from the shore and by diving for it while it is still fresh in the water.
Reserved exclusively for our own formulas, they are found in Saaren Taika skincare alone.

Developing for easy skin would be too easy. Every product in our range is developed with sensitive, reactive, redness-prone or barrier-compromised skin in mind first, and everything else second.

Founded by Johanna Amnelin, Saaren Taika is led today by her daughter, Veera Amnelin-Kylämäki.
Product development, our own laboratory and our factory work side by side in Perniö, Finland. Every product you see in this store is developed and made there, by us.
This keeps our product development agile: when we see how a formula performs, we can refine it right away.
A Raw Material You Can Actually Trace
Our bladderwrack is hand-gathered only after Bothnian Sea storms have detached it, from the shore and by diving for it while it is still fresh in the water. It is never dredged or farmed.
We can tell you exactly where and how our core ingredient was gathered.
