Why Redness Comes Back and What Actually Calms It

Why Redness Comes Back and What Actually Calms It

Redness Relief Serum is a clinically tested serum developed for redness-prone, reactive and rosacea-prone skin, built to work on the visible cycle of redness rather than covering it up.

Redness rarely has just one cause

When your skin flushes easily, stings, or reacts to products that are supposed to feel gentle, the reason is rarely a single ingredient. Visible redness usually comes from several mechanisms working together: sensitive surface nerve endings, a weakened skin barrier, an imbalanced microbiome, and blood vessels close to the surface that react quickly to heat, cold, stress or fragrance. When a formula only addresses one of these, the redness often returns within hours.

Clinical Results

Redness Relief Serum was tested in an independent 42 day study under dermatological supervision (Eurofins, 32 participants across two panels). The results were measured, not assumed.

57% less visible redness. 34% more even-looking skin tone. 22% less moisture loss through the skin. In the panel with acne-type rosacea skin, 27% fewer inflammatory blemishes were counted by the dermatologist over the 42 day study. Crow's feet wrinkles appeared 32% smoother.

Participants also reported feeling clear improvements in stinging, burning, tightness and heat by the end of the study. These are participant-reported experiences, not a guaranteed result for every skin.

How to use it

Cleanse gently, without stripping your skin. Apply Redness Relief Serum on damp skin, morning or evening. Seal it with a barrier-supporting cream. Finish your morning routine with SPF.

The bladderwrack behind it

Redness Relief Serum is built around our proprietary bladderwrack bioactives, Fucus DuoActive® and Fucus Fusion®, developed from wild bladderwrack hand collected from the Bothnian Sea. The two actives were chosen to complement each other, supporting your skin barrier and its natural microbiome while helping calm the surface reactivity that keeps redness cycling back.
