Our founder Johanna struggled with skin problems, like severe eczema and allergies, from childhood. Her search for relief inspired her to create skincare where Nordic nature meets clinically tested efficacy. Saaren Taika was born from this genuine need, to bring nature-powered solutions with proven results to sensitive and reactive skin.
Today, Saaren Taika is both Johanna's vision and a mother and daughter journey. Johanna's daughter Veera has taken an important role in product development, continuing the family's dedication to creating effective care for sensitive and reactive skin. Together they combine Johanna's experience and Veera's fresh perspective to make skincare that is innovative and true to its roots.

Founded in Särkisalo, Finland, Saaren Taika is a three generation family business and today one of Finland's leading independent skincare brands. Our cult favourite Tea Tree Soap, along with many other products, offers effective care for sensitive skin and supports a more sustainable lifestyle.
We develop for the special needs of northern skin and believe in the power of natural ingredients. Our goal is to support both people and the environment with effective, ecological products that are gentle even on the most delicate skin.
Where we are
Saaren Taika is located in Särkisalo, in the heart of Finland's pristine archipelago. Here, surrounded by nature's purity and strength, our ideas and formulas are born. For us, nature provides both the raw materials and the inspiration, showing how balance and effectiveness can go together.
Our cosmetics factory, shop and warehouse are in Perniö, from where we ship worldwide. All our facilities run on renewable energy, and thanks to our own solar power plant, we produce green electricity for ourselves and for others too.
